Electrical Contacts from a Diverter Switch

Here we have four different styles of contacts from a Diverter Switch we made in shop -- complete with contact pads and silver plated. The customer was basically a "middle man" who didn't know exactly who the OEM was. He sent in a sample of each style and we made these based on his samples.

Tap Changer Electrical Contacts

Below are some parts from two different tap changers. The basic hardware with the bolts could be reused, but the blades themselves were too badly burned. We replaced the copper blades with new versions which were cut to the OEM specifications. We also silver plated all the parts in shop.

Mallory 8CC Electrical Contacts

Here are some movable and stationary Mallory 8CC Electrical Contacts. We often repair these complete with silver plating. The particular set seen here was used in Lexington Fire Pump, circa 1948. The customer sent them in thinking we would have to make brand new ones based on the old burned up parts. While we could have made new versions, the older parts were salvageable. This resulted in a faster turn around time and saved the customer money.
