General Electric FKD Contact Set
This is one of the most common types of contacts we work on; the electrical contacts from a General Electric FKD oil circuit breaker. The set above is how they generally come in to our shop. Thirty-six stationary contacts and six small arcing contacts in their aluminum housings and six movable rods make up the set. We completely disassemble, repair the contacts with the proper silver tungsten, and reassemble so they're ready for instillation. Below are the same contacts after we repaired them...

Allis Chalmers BZ-40-A Contacts
Here are some contacts from a set of Allis Chalmers BZ-40-A Oil Circuit Breaker we repaired. The pads on the stationary double contact were burned up. We upgraded from plain copper to the appropriate tungsten contact. The movable rods were also in bad shape, but after our repairs, they look brand new. With the proper contact material, they will even operate better than before! Check out the contact info to the right and call us to see what we can do for you!
